Natural Facial Rejuvenation
Not Just Looking Good but Feeling Great Too...
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture

What is Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture?
It is a natural skin rejuvenation technique that increases blood circulation which will stimulate the cells growth and collagen production to treat:
- fine lines and wrinkles
- pigmentation i.e. freckles, sun damages
- dry and dull skin
- acne and other scars
- drooping eyelids and sagging skin
- dark circles and puffiness under eyes
- uneven skin tone i.e greasy skin
Why by putting needles on your face helps to improve the skin condition?
The insertion of tiny needles into the facial tissue increases blood and lymphatic circulation in the area which will improve the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the skin. When the circulation is increased, the collagen production is also increased which will give the skin more tightness and elasticity helping to fill out the fine lines, soften deeper wrinkles and lift and firm the skin. The increased circulation also rehydrates the skin by stimulating the sweat and sebaceous glands and helps exfoliation by encouraging the proliferation of new skin cells. Placing acupuncture needles into muscles in the face also helps to take away that “stressed” look by relaxing facial muscles. A 1996 report in the international Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with Cosmetic Acupuncture*, 98% had marked effects with one course of treatment. The effects included: skin becoming more delicate and fair improvement of the elasticity of facial muscles diminished wrinkles healthier complexion overall rejuvenation

Why Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture is the best option for facial rejuvenation?
1. Your skin is a reflection of your inner health
Conventional cosmetic therapies only treat your outer skin without addressing the root causes of any skin concerns. This provides only short term, temporary benefits. Cosmetic acupuncture works directly on your skin but also addresses any internal conditions which may be affecting your appearance. This is holistic skincare which is much more effective with longer lasting results. You will also benefit from an improvement in your general health and well-being.
2. Long lasting and natural looking effects with easy maintenance
As mentioned above, the treatment is a holistic approaches that duel with your inner health which treats the root causes of your skin problems that will eventually make you “Looking Good and Feeling Great!”. To maintain the result, most people may only need one single treatment every 1 – 3 months.
3. It is natural and safe without bad side effects
Unlike cosmetic surgery, no product will be injected to your skin. All we use only fine needles, natural essential oil and natural topical herbal mask. It is a natural beauty therapy method which had been and still widely being used in China since centuries ago till now. It is getting more popular in the western world especially among the celebrities.
4. Cost effective treatment for facial rejuvenation
At a fraction of the cost of other procedures, Cosmetic Acupuncture is a sound alternative that can restore your radiant glow both inside and out.
What happens during a treatment?
A comprehensive history of your health will be taken. Your face will be diagnosed using Ruri Face Diagnosis. Like iridology reads the eyes, Ruri Face Diagnosis involves reading your face to revel health problems in your body.
Faces will always age according to corresponding problems in the body, so it is important to correctly diagnose your face before beginning treatment.
Healing acupuncture needles will then be placed in your body in order to correct the imbalances that are causing the aging in your face.
Very fine acupuncture needles are then inserted into the appropriate areas of your face using special techniques designed to maximize the treatment results. For best results, body acupuncture will be performed within the same session, about 8 to 10 acupuncture points will be needled according to your personal health conditions.
The needles are left in place for about 20 minutes and after removal you will receive a relaxing facial massage using 100% pure rosehip oil.
You may receive skin care, lifestyle and dietary advice as part of your treatment.
What does the acupuncture feel like?
You will not feel most of the needles being inserted. With some of the needles you may feel a small prick when the needle is first inserted, once the needle is in place you will feel no pain at all. People often report feeling a pleasant warm, tingling sensation, and many people relax and go to sleep during treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
For best results twice weekly treatments over 8 weeks are recommended. This very much depends on your current skin conditions and age, women below 30 years old may require less treatment.
How soon can I expect to see results?
With each treatment you will notice your face looks fresher, your skin tone is tighter, your pores are minimized and your eyes sparkle. Softening of lines generally begins after 4 -5 weeks of treatment, as this is how long it takes for new collagen to be produced and for your skin cells to be renewed.
Are there any risks or side effects? Can anyone have Cosmetic Acupuncture?
The main side effect is looking and feeling great especially from the body acupuncture, it relax your body and improve your energy level. There is small risk of slight bruising that will fade as a normal bruise would fade. For this reason Cosmetic Acupuncture is not recommended for those on blood thinning medications such as Warfarin, Heparin and Aspirin. Cosmetic Acupuncture is also not suitable for those with very high blood pressure, severe migraines (we can treat these 2 conditions effectively with body acupuncture first before any cosmetic acupuncture), or during pregnancy.
